One of the perks of social media is finding new vocabulary tools! Recently, I stumbled upon Lingro, a website that helps you define words on other websites. Sound confusing? When you visit Lingro.com simply type a website address into the empty field and click the blue arrow. Lingro will instantly redirect you to the website you entered which has been transformed into a clickable dictionary! This vocabulary tool would be great for English Language Leaners or for students visiting academic websites.
Word Hippo is an all-in-one reference tool! What's great about Word Hippo is students can look up a vocabulary word and not only find the definition, but get translations, rhyming words, the word used in a sentence, and hear how it's pronounced.
